New Business
New matters introduced for Board consideration included:
Proposal by Stephanie for adding a business section on website. Members may buy ads ($25)
or place a business card on our website. Possibly add a dogsitter/child sitter section.
Discussion of a new resident committee – we need volunteers for that!
Consideration of replacing old and damaged tents. They are usually damaged when we loan
them out. Jennifer made a motion to end Tent usage as a member benefit, Jim second.
Stephanie will amend website.
Paula brought up that she would like to apply for the Hillsborough County neighborhood mini
grant this year. The entire Board unanimously voted in favor of doing so.
Dave mentioned that the barge the WLNA assembled many years ago for Flotilla events needs
attention. Mike will investigate acquiring boards and screws to fix it.
A member noted that some counties are limiting the use of wake boats on small lakes such as
ours. The damage to the shorelines etc. will be looked at. TBD if that will happen here.
Stephanie noted that the little lake would benefit from a neighborhood workday to clean up
the area. Date TBD
Adjournment

for 11/13 at Paula McGee’s home.
