WLNA BOARD MEETING

Friday August 1, 2008

Present: Bob and Cindy Briesacher, Mike and Carin Hunt, Tom Mead, Bob Donaghy, Rick Joudrey, Richard Champagne, Cheryl Ayres and Alby Cornellier

Absent: John Cushing

Old Business: Previously nominated director, Artie Taylor has declined his election to the board in lieu of his participation and commitments to activities and issues regarding Little Lake Wilson. All agreed that if it concerns the little lake it concerns all. Consideration given to a liaison position.

Treasures Report: Summary report that membership dues for this period has been submitted by only 12 families. Board members reminded to remit. Balance of funds in bank as of 07/30/2008 $5655.38.

Board of County Commissions Campaigns: Discussed and tabled. Noted that the current board has not voted in our favor on issues involving our neighborhood and we should consider the new candidates.

President: Bob Briesacher

Motion to accept slate of officers as presented made by Bob Donaghy

Second: Tom Mead

Vote: Unanimous for.

Reviewed some issues for this coming year. Fall Fest planning, ongoing membership campaigning, Neighborhood Relations office mini grants and community clean up.

Next Meeting: Wednesday, August 27 at the Briesacher residence 18839 Geraci Road, 6:30 pm.
